                  WOMEN BEYOND 12STEP RECOVERY                                                   Thursdays

                           January 9th - February 13th

                             6 week commitment $72

7:00pm - 8:30pm

Reservations required - limited to 10 people

This weekly group will be on-going with a minimum commitment of 6 weeks. This means its up to you to make YOU a commitment and a priority in your life.  My hope is that from the very first night your experience will give you reason to make YOU and the practice of showing up the next best thing to whatever  your addictions have been!!!  This environment is being created to support all the women out there who are fed up with the old paradigm  of support groups for Sober people, people living life without being identified by and as their addictive choices.   The environment I have created is a nurturing & supportive one,  that bursts open any limiting beliefs & toxicity of blame and shame. This is NOT Alcoholics Anonymous.  It has been specifically created to be all things AA is not.  For starters you will not identify yourself as your addiction. You will identify yourself by simply name or anything you are becoming.  Such as I am a creative spirit beginning to tap into my new found spiritual beliefs.  Maybe another time you introduce yourself as a women who is aligning with her integrity.  I find this a far more pleasing and interesting way of getting to know someone.  When we identify ourselves by what we have left, or leaving behind, its harder for someone new to not bring that story with them when they are learning about you.   More on the principles of this  in the group.  Which leads me to another very important distinction is that there is no story telling of the addiction.  This group time is an opportunity to rewire the brain by telling stories that enhance your recovery, not engaging the brain where its been.   An opportunity to behave differently and surrender into new possibilities.  This is important to understand, more of this in the group.   As women we know how to nurture and give to others.  This will be a time to re-engineer practices of self-talk, self-care, building faith of Self and an inner sense of peace.  There will be atleast one yin pose of yoga (can be experienced by all) to assist in detoxification - emotionally, physically and mentally.  There will be another type of exercise to enhance and tap into your inner wisdom. It is my hope that this will instill in each women the importance of her intuition and not to dismiss it as so often we do in relationship to others.  There will be meditation and journaling with a purpose. Some of the themes in past workshops have been: "What is it you want to perpetuate in life?"   "visualizing how you want to see yourself so as to manifest the new you."  You shall have the guidance of me as the facilitator who will be the keeper of safe space, and ongoing encouragement, uncovering your strengths and gifts, supporting  each of you to live by these strengths and gifts.  This weekly practice will help cultivate your inner life in a consistent and deliberate way - through disciplined practice so that you are living your lives with intention.  In this fall season, when it is natural for the leaves to fall, let yourself be guided into this season with the support of a womens group that will assist you.  If there is resistance, recognize it, and choose anyway.  Don't be alone, come join us.

As a trained yoga therapist and a trained facilitator in 12 step addiction recovery I will teach in an experiential way using yoga, energy medicine, mindfulness practices, meditation and visualization all imperative to knowing the spiritual components of life in a real sense.  As a holistic coach it is my hope that a 90 minute group session once a week will engage you, fill you up and deeply touch you to want more and keep coming back.
